Off to a great start in 2022
Our year starts with feelings of sadness, our wonderful and much-loved teacher/conductor Juliarna Clark having resigned in order to pursue post-graduate study. However Juliarna will continue her association with the choir as a parent and is willing to help out at rehearsals as appropriate.
But there is huge excitement with the appointment of locally well-known conductor Polly Christie as our new Artistic Director. We are hopeful of a year free from lockdowns, allowing for live rehearsals, performances and social festivities.
Young Voices of Macedon looks forward to a year of great singing and friendship and, as soon as regulations permit, the resumption of genuine afternoon teas!
Children from the age of 5 and parents are welcome to come to the first rehearsal on 3 February from 4.15 to 5.45pm to see and hear the choir in action, and to join in the activities and fun. Rehearsals are held at the Norma Richardson Hall, Buckland Street, Woodend.
